echosan So the long Easter holiday is over, and it's back to business - the business of making totally ridiculous comics.

I know I'm always whining about having to stay up late to finish these, but when everything's wrapped up, I feel pretty good about them. This issue might not be a modern classic or anything, but I particularly like the RoboKitty on the far right of the first panel and how the kill squad suddenly reverts to harmless housecats at the first sign of a shiny distraction.

Also, it looks as though the RoboKitty who was doing jazz hands earlier just about got into a slap-fight with Her.
samilia Yay! Kitties of Doom turned into happy Kitties of Love!
Dr. Cosmos I hope you mean, "Kitties of Doom turned into Doomed Kitties!" Because that's what's up.

By the way, I like that Brave Her is totally grabbing a Robokitty, ready to throw down like it's a show on the Food Network. I imagine her having some witty bon mot, like "You want a catfight?! YOU GOT IT, BUSTER!!" or something like that.

Two things I LOVE about this one!

1) the title! I don't know who came up with it but I was a big fan of "Where in the World" and still own my very own Rockapella CD.
2) the reference to the Care Bear 'Stare' - so fun. :)

Hehe, gotta love the 40 w bulb. The Robokitty doing the jazz hands ... they remind me of these female fighters from an old Jackie Chan movie (Armor of God I think).
Echosan @anmldoc: My pop culture-obsessed compatriot, Dr. Cosmos, comes up with all the titles. When he emails me the scripts, he puts the title in the subject line, and that's what I use. I have to admit that I've had the Carmen Sandiego theme song stuck in my head for three days now, though.

And I don't know if it was intentionally a Care Bear stare reference ... but like I said, he is obsessed with pop culture.

@amy: HAHA! You're totally right! You're talking about Operation Condor (1 & 2), I think, but those fighting chicks were righteous. I haven't seen that movie in years, so it might be a subliminal inspiration, but nice catch!
Dr. Cosmos Care what now? I watched Voltron.

Dr. Cosmos - I don't know you, but I know you have a sister. You may have 'watched' Voltron - but that doesn't mean that the Care Bears were not taken in by your senses. I think it, like echosan's sketching, was a subliminal inspiration. :)
